Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan prinsip dasar Blockchain dan menganalisis skenario aplikasi Blockchain dalam industri pariwisata, untuk membahas signifikansi praktis Blockchain dan Smart tourism. Metode research review dipilih sebagai metode untuk mengidentifikasi dan meninjau tantangan dan peluang implementasi blockchain dalam bidang pariwisata pintar. Implementasi teknologi Blockchain pada Smart Tourism memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, pengalaman pengguna, dan konektivitas. Namun, terdapat tantangan terkait dengan keamanan, privasi, dan interoperabilitas data dalam konteks smart tourism. Penggunaan penyimpanan terdesentralisasi dan terdistribusi melalui teknologi Blockchain dapat mengatasi masalah keamanan data. Perusahaan dan organisasi pariwisata perlu berhati-hati dalam pengumpulan dan pengelolaan data pribadi pengguna untuk menghindari penyalahgunaan dan pelanggaran privasi.
