Abstract

Pemeriksaan darah lengkap adalah salah satu pemeriksaan klinik yangr rutin dilakukan. Salah satu parameter yang ada dalam pemeriksaan darah lengkap adalah jumlah trombosit atau platelet. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar trombosit pada sampel darah EDTA yang segera dilakukan pemeriksaan dan dilakukan penundaan pemeriksaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tinjauan pustaka ini dilakukan dengan pencarian studi pada basis data online berupa PubMed, Cochrane library, dan Google Scholar. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu bahwa penundaan waktu pemeriksaan menyebabkan penurunan kadar trombosit. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada kadar trombosit pada sampel darah EDTA yang segera dilakukan pemeriksaan dan dilakukan penundaan pemeriksaan. Apabila kondisi tidak memungkinkan untuk dilakukannya pemeriksaan segera, sampel darah EDTA dapat disimpan dalam suhu refrigerator untuk tetap menjaga kestabilan metabolisme trombosit.
